VIA RAIL’S CANADIAN IS ONE OF DISCOVERY CHANNEL’S MIGHTY TRAINS

Montréal, October 31, 2016- VIA Rail Canada (VIA Rail) is thrilled to be part of Discovery Chanel’s newest documentary series “Mighty Trains”. Last year, VIA Rail hosted a crew from Discovery Channel on its iconic Canadian train travelling from Vancouver to Toronto to support the filming of a one-hour documentary. VIA Rail’s Canadian is the only North American train featured in this documentary, which is being broadcasted worldwide. The third episode of Discovery Chanel’s newest documentary series “Mighty Trains” explores everything about the long distance train the Canadian, from the onboard experience to the mechanics of the train.
