Montreal, November 24, 2016 – Take advantage of the Black Friday sale and plan your next train trip! VIA Rail Canada (VIA Rail) is announcing its biggest Canada-wide sale of the season. Through November 28, discounted fares will be available for travel up to and including February 28, 2017 in Economy class, and up to and including April 30, 2017 in Sleeper Plus class.

In the Quebec City-Windsor corridor, discounted fares will be available in Economy class for travel between November 28, 2016 and February 28, 2017. You can travel in Economy class between Montreal and Toronto for as low as $37, or between Ottawa and Quebec City for $36. Discounted fares will also be available in Business Class for trips between December 16, 2016 and January 4, 2017.

VIA Rail invites you to discover its long distance services (the Ocean between Montreal and Halifax, and the Canadian between Toronto and Vancouver) and to see the country in a unique way, in total peace and comfort while enjoying exceptional service. During the Black Friday sale, it will cost only $167 per person to travel between Toronto and Winnipeg in Economy Class onboard the legendary Canadian, and as little as $100 to travel in Economy Class on the Ocean. Tickets must be purchased by November 28 for travel up to and including February 28, 2017 in Economy class and up to and including April 30, 2017 for Sleeper Plus class.
